Madrid, September 3, 2018. In relation to the news which has appeared in several means of communication on the construction work being carried out in the Canalejas area, the Centro Canalejas Madrid company, with a participation of 50% by OHL and Mohari Hospitality, states the following:

• The company holds periodic informative and monitoring meetings with the neighbors, businesses and institutions concerning the evolution of the construction work.
• The progress of the very technically complex work is performed under a technical management which is permanently at the disposal of the interested parties, displaying a sensitivity towards their needs.
• Prior to the start of the work at Canalejas, expert reports have been carried out on the state of the buildings next to the location of the construction work, as well as reports of the monitoring of the possible impact of the actions performed on all of them. All these reports have their corresponding notary certification.
• To this date, there is no technical report in existence that confirms the responsibility of the damages stipulated in the various news items.
• One of the priority objectives of the technical management is to minimize the impact of the work on the daily activities of the citizens, as well as on the artistic heritage in its surroundings.
• The future Centro Canalejas Madrid complex, which will hold a Four Seasons Hotel, the Galería de Canalejas and 22 residences, is already stimulating the urban reorganization and transportation infrastructures of the city center.
