The OHL Board of Directors appoints Enrique Weickert as new General Economic and Financial Director

February 28, 2010

The OHL Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Enrique Weickert as General Economic and Financial Director. Weickert will be replacing Jose Antonio Fernandez Elejada who, following many years at the head of OHL’s economic and financial affairs which he has developed brilliantly, believed it was time for him to make way for someone else who could take charge of it.

He has a Bachelor of Economic and Business Science from Seville University (including an academic year in University College Dublin with an Erasmus scholarship), and is a member of the Spanish Treasury’s Official Account Auditors Register (ROAC).

Enrique Weickert began his professional career in 1996 with Arthur Andersen (merged with Deloitte in 2002), where as senior manager he undertook tasks of auditing and assessment for Spanish companies registered in the U.S. belonging to the energy and telecommunications sectors. He provided services in various fields such as: IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, issuing debts, due diligence, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, etc.

In 2005 he became Economic Financial Director of Fertiberia, leading European fertiliser producer and head of the Villar Mir Group’s Fertiliser division, from which he has participated in the important international expansion phase that the company is undergoing into countries such as Algeria and Portugal. He will remain in that position until he joins OHL.
