Villar Mir and OHL Awards to the Best Talent at the civil engineering graduate school, E.T.S. de Ingenieros de Caminos Canales y Puertos

The Villar Mir Group and OHL, in the framework of their support for the development of talent, presented awards to students at the civil engineering graduate school in Madrid, Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (ETS ICCP) during the graduation ceremony of the 208th graduating class of this school of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Jesús Montero Mingo, an executive of OHL, was entrusted with presenting the award to the best Civil Engineering master’s end-of-studies project in the area of Financing and Management of Projects and Infrastructures, to Carlos Sastre Mosquera. This award includes a cash prize of 3,000 euros.

The Villar Mir Award to the student who ranked number 1 in the second graduating class of the Civil Engineering master’s program, in the mention of Project and Infrastructure Management and Financing, with a cash prize of 6,000 euros, was granted to Jose Miguel Isabel Álvarez. The award was presented by Julio Iglesias de Ussel, representing the Villar Mir Foundation.

The ceremony was attended by the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Guillermo Cisneros Pérez, the Head of the Civil Engineering School of Madrid, Francisco Javier Martín Carrasco, and the Minister of Public Works, Iñigo de la Serna, among other public figures.
