OHLA, a global infrastructure group with more than 110 years of history, has renewed its collaboration agreement with Fundación Integra. Thus, the company reaffirms its commitment to the entity to offer opportunities in its workforce to people in social exclusion and with disabilities and to achieve their real integration into society.

Since 2002, the OHLA Group has been a member of the board of trustees of Fundación Integra, and in 2015 joined Compromiso Integra, the network of companies committed to socially responsible employment created by the foundation with the aim of achieving the labor market integration of people in social exclusion and people with disabilities.

Thanks to its collaboration with Fundación Integra, OHLA has provided nearly 800 jobs, mainly through its Services line of activity, to women victims of violence, homeless people, ex-prisoners, ex-drug addicts and people with disabilities.

Access to decent employment means for these people, the recovery of stability and economic independence, generating new support networks essential to leave the past behind and build a new future.

As part of its commitment to Fundación Integra and its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy, OHLA contributes to the development of talent through volunteering. Since 2017, nearly 70 corporate volunteers have trained 1,356 candidates at the Escuela de Fortalecimiento to help them regain their self-esteem and confidence.

In addition, with the aim of continuing its commitment to training and eliminating the digital barriers faced by people at risk of exclusion when looking for a job, the OHLA Group will join the ‘Integra Tech’ digital HUB in 2023.

‘Integra Tech’ is the first digital HUB aimed at people in severe social exclusion and with disabilities whose purpose is to awaken their digital skills on the way to finding employment. Through different strategic lines, beyond training, the objective is to generate a positive, deep and lasting impact on people and stakeholders.
