OHL’s Board of Directors appoints Juan Osuna as Second Vice-President the Board and Chief Executive Officer of OHL Group

The Board of Directors of OHL, following a favourable report from the Appointments and Remuneration Committee, has agreed at its meeting today to accept the resignation of Mr. Tomás García Madrid as Second Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer of OHL Group, with effect from today, and consequently appoint Mr. Juan Osuna as Second Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer of OHL Group with responsibility across all operating divisions and corporate areas of the OHL Group.

Following the agreement (“Binding Offer Agreement”) announced on October 16 for the acquisition by IFM Investors of 100% of the share capital of OHL Concesiones, S.A.U., which main terms were described in the Relevant Fact published such day, Mr. Tomás García Madrid considers that the phase for which he was appointed CEO has been completed.

Juan Osuna, following a prominent role in the Concessions unit, assumes the greatest challenge of boosting the Engineering and Construction, Development and Services businesses right after the reassessment process carried out in the last two years. In particular, he will continue the ongoing process to return the Engineering and Construction Division a cash-generating and sustainable business. Furthermore, in the Concessions Division, he will lead the closing of the 100% sale of OHL Concesiones SAU to IFM Investors, carrying out the confirmatory due diligence, finalizing the transaction documentation and preparing the call for the extraordinary Annual General meeting of OHL to submit to the shareholders the approval of the transaction.

The new CEO of the OHL Group has an eighteen year tenure in OHL Group and accumulates a wide experience in the ​​Concessions business, after leading the creation of OHL Concesiones from scratch in 2002 and has an outstanding knowledge of the Construction business. Mr. Osuna is Chairman of the Board of OHL México, Chief Executive Officer of OHL Concesiones and Member of the Board of Director of different companies within OHL Group.

In addition, Mr. Osuna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering of Roads, Canals and Ports from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Master of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.
