OXXEO building has seven floors. It is a property for business use located in the north of Madrid and that has been classified as the best new office building in Spain by the Spanish Association of Offices. Its innovative design is based on sustainable criteria and energy efficiency, as well as good practices aimed at taking care of the health and well-being of its users. From an architectural point of view, it is characterized by its triangular shape, with chamfered vertices that adapt to the configuration of the plot on which it stands.
The exterior lattice of the façade, with rhomboidal shape, in addition to having an aesthetic character, fulfills the function of being a bearing structure of the slabs, protecting the interior from the solar incidence and optimizing its use. It is joined by a dynamic lighting system adapted to the human circadian rhythm, which has resulted in the achievement of the A+ classification, according to the AEO Model of Technical Classification.
Its sustainable, environmental and protection character has also given it awards and certifications, such as the award for the Best New Construction Office Building in Spain, awarded by the Spanish Association of Offices; LEED Platinum Core & Shell certifications, the highest distinction awarded by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), and BREEAM, which recognizes the optimization of natural resources and the materials used in its construction. To them we must add the Well Oro certification, a distinction focused on people’s health and well-being.
