March 25, 2015

OHL Servicios, through its subsidiary Ingesan, a reference in the facilities management sector, was one of the winners of the 2015 Stela Prize, awarded each year by the Down’s Syndrome Foundation Madrid (Down Madrid) for its effort towards integration in the job market of Down’s syndrome and other intellectually disabled persons.

The act, held on 17 March at Palacete de los Duques de Pastrana in Madrid, served as a closing event of the Foundation’s 25th Anniversary and was attended by Carmen Pérez-Anchuela, General Manager of Social Services of the Autonomous Community of Madrid; Alberto Durán, First Executive Vice-chairman of the ONCE Foundation; Inés Álvarez Arancedo, President of Down Madrid; and Carmelo Ferrández, Corporate Director of Human Resources (OHL), amongst others.

On behalf of OHL, the prize was received by Cristina Encinas, in charge of Human Resources for Ingesan; and Fernando Soto, one of the department’s technicians. The prize was awarded by Raúl Sánchez, one of the colleagues at Ingesan, beneficiary of the Stela Project in which OHL has been participating since 2006.

The Stela Project was launched in 1995 by Down Madrid in order to enable and promote social and employment insertion, using the Employment with Support methodology, designed to facilitate access to the job market by disabled persons in the same conditions as other workers.
