Railroads

We have more than seven decades of experience in projects in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa, delivering several flagships projects such as the Purple Line light rail in Maryland (USA), an initiative valued at 2.21 billion euros that will transform the transportation network in the Washington region and bring significant environmental benefits, as it is expected to reduce car trips by 17,000 vehicles per day.

We are committed to sustainable mobility

We are the first Spanish company to complete a 206 km section of the Ankara-Estambul Train line (Turkey), in operation since 2009; and the first delivering a rail project in the USA, the AirportLink, which extends the existing subway to the international airport in Miami, Florida.

We have also built the Elmont Station, the first Long Island Rail Road station to be completed in nearly 50 years; and made accessibility, structural integrity and design improvements to stations in five boroughs across the city.

In Maryland, we participate in a consortium in the Purple Line project, the largest contract obtained to date in the country, which includes the completion of the design and construction of the light rail system with a 26.1-kilometer route and 21 stations.
