We have more than seven decades of experience in projects in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa, delivering several flagships projects such as the Purple Line light rail in Maryland (USA), an initiative valued at 2.21 billion euros that will transform the transportation network in the Washington region and bring significant environmental benefits, as it is expected to reduce car trips by 17,000 vehicles per day.

We are committed to sustainable mobility

We are the first Spanish company to complete a 206 km section of the Ankara-Estambul Train line (Turkey), in operation since 2009; and the first delivering a rail project in the USA, the AirportLink, which extends the existing subway to the international airport in Miami, Florida.

We have also contributed to the improvement of the New York City subway through our fully owned subsidiary Judlau Contracting, Inc. (Judlau), which recently completed two projects for the New Second Avenue Subway Program, -the 63rd Street and 72nd Street Stations; the refurbishment of the South Ferry Terminal Complex, and the Canarsie tunnel rehabilitation, the main rail corridor connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan. We have also built the Elmont Station, the first Long Island Rail Road station to be completed in nearly 50 years; and made accessibility, structural integrity and design improvements to stations in five boroughs across the city.

In Maryland, we participate in a consortium in the Purple Line project, the largest contract obtained to date in the country, which includes the completion of the design and construction of the light rail system with a 26.1-kilometer route and 21 stations.

Latin America

We have built the Medellín tramway in Colombia, the most modern in Latin America, with a length of 4.3 km and a gradient of up to 12.5%, the steepest in the world tramway system. In Mexico, flagship projects include the construction of 37 km of section 1 and a double cantilever viaduct on section 3, both belonging to the Mexico-Toluca interurban train; the execution of the third section, superstructure and supply of rolling stock for Line 3 of the Guadalajara Light Railway; and section A of the extension of the Lechería suburban train to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport. Likewise, we have completed several sections in the Santiago de Chile Metro lines 2,3,4, 5 and 7, including the Plaza Egaña and Dorsal Station, and the construction of the Valparaiso-Viña del Mar Metro, totaling nearly 27 km of tunneling works..

Furthermore, we will carry out a 2.2 km extension of Subway Line 1 connecting Panama and Villa Zaíta. The works will also include a terminal station on the northern end of the line, with a capacity for more than 10,000 passengers at rush hour. The company will also build a bus interchange with capacity for more than 8,000 passengers and a parking lot with 800 spaces. Another component of the project is the expansion of the Via Transístmica to six lanes and a two-level traffic segment, in addition to pedestrian and landscaping improvements.

The company has worked more than 30 years in the construction of the Spanish high-speed rail network (AVE), delivering nearly 200 projects to date. Some project examples are the Madrid-Galicia high-speed line north-northwest corridor (Espiño tunnel section. Left track) and the Sebastián high-speed line platform (East Antzuola-Ezquio/Itxaso section).

In Norway we executed the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) Skiconsisting of the reconstruction of the Ski railway station to connect it to the Follo high-speed line; in Sweden we are working in the improvement of the existing line between Lund and Arlöv (Malmö), one of the busiest railway routes in the country.
